Founded in Hong Kong
DEMORADESIGN was founded in Hong Kong by a small group of engineers who shared a simple belief: software deserves to live inside systems that are designed, documented, and maintained with care. In the first year the studio took on a handful of integration projects for local manufacturers and trading firms, learning the rhythms of the district, the buildings, and the working hours of the city. That early experience shaped our conviction that a computer system is only as good as the people who use it and the process that keeps it alive. We carried that conviction into every contract we signed since.
The team expands into a full practice
By 2015 the studio had grown into a full practice of system architects, developers, and support engineers. We moved beyond single projects and began taking responsibility for complete computing environments, from local networks to the software platforms that run on top of them. This was also the year we standardized our quality process: every engagement now follows a written design phase, a build phase, and a testing phase before anything goes live. Clients noticed the difference quickly, and referrals became the main engine of our growth.
The digital platform and remote delivery
The year 2021 brought a turning point. With remote work and cloud services becoming the new normal, we rebuilt our own delivery platform and moved most of our own infrastructure to the cloud, so that we could design, build, and monitor systems for clients in other cities as easily as we did for clients next door. The same year we introduced a digital service desk, giving every client a single place to log requests, track progress, and reach an engineer at any hour of the day. The desk became the quiet engine of our reputation, and it also gave our clients the confidence that their systems could be managed from anywhere, a flexibility that proved its worth again and again.
A global reach, still a small practice
Today DEMORADESIGN serves clients on three continents from our base in Hong Kong, while remaining, at heart, a small and accountable practice. We still take on a limited number of engagements each year so that every system receives real attention from real engineers, and we still answer the desk ourselves. The studio that began with one room and a handful of tools now delivers computer integrated systems design work for organisations that operate across borders, time zones, and industries.
